About us

Your local Werribee crew

Dr Electro electrical solutions is a licensed electrical contractor based in Werribee, working across Wyndham and Melbourne's west. We cover Werribee South, Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit, Point Cook, Truganina, Williams Landing and Little River, from the older brick homes near the Werribee River through to the new estates out towards Wyndham Vale. Whether it's a dead circuit, a tired switchboard or wiring a whole renovation, the work is done to AS/NZS 3000 and comes with a certificate of electrical safety. Give us a ring and tell us what's going on — we'll quote it straight.

Questions, answered

Do you charge for quotes?

No. Quotes are free and there's no obligation to go ahead. For larger jobs like a rewire, switchboard upgrade or renovation fit-out we'll come out, look at what's there and give you a written price so you know exactly what's included before anything starts.

Can you come out for an urgent electrical fault?

Yes. Call us on 0405 708 698 and tell us what's happening. If you can smell burning, see scorch marks around a socket or have exposed wiring, switch that circuit off at the board and don't use it until we've had a look.

My switchboard still has old fuse wire — does it need replacing?

Plenty of older Werribee homes still run ceramic fuses with no safety switches. They won't protect you from electric shock the way an RCBO does, and they struggle with modern loads like split systems and induction cooktops. We'll assess your board and explain your options.

Do I get paperwork when the job's finished?

Yes. Any new or altered wiring comes with a Certificate of Electrical Safety, which matters for insurance and when you sell. We'll also walk you through what was done, where the new circuits sit on the board and how anything we've installed works.

Can you install an EV charger at my house?

We can. First we check your switchboard capacity and supply, then run a dedicated circuit to wherever you park — garage, carport or driveway wall. We'll advise on single versus three phase and what your car and household load can actually handle.

Ready when you are.
